Big Tap Entertainment was founded in 1989 by Philadelphia-born Manager & Executive Producer, Gerald “Big Tap” Tapper.

Soon after arriving in NYC in the mid 80’s, Gerald immediately began immersing himself in the music, culture and nightlife of downtown by working on wide-ranging projects including those with Eddie Murphy, Vin Diesel, Darrin Henson, Mark Ronson, Ivan “Doc” Rodriguez, KRS-One, Merle Scott & Bill Duffy.

He gained further notoriety and valuable experience by working at the legendary clubs Hard Rock Cafe, Nell’s, Giant Step, China Club, Irving Plaza, The Palladium and Webster Hall.

His infectious persona & love of people has solidified strategic partners, insider status & high-powered connections sprawling across multiple industries: Music, Film, Television, Theater, Sports, Fashion, Hotel & Travel – all which he now serves.

Whether it be in Times Square or West Philly, everyone knows “Big Tap”… and so should you.
